This is a couple who will steal your heart. Calhoune writes about children in need so well, and from the beginning when readers see Hunter and Olivia as children, they are rooting for these two to find their happy ending. The romantic reuniting is sweet and emotional. Another plus to the story was a great subplot with an older couple romance, something that shows up far too infrequently in books these days. The relationship between Olivia and her friends is also intriguing. Calhoune plants many mysteries in the story so that as a reader, I can't wait for the next one to see how the friendships will all work out! Well done!Product details

A realistic, good, fast paced book that keeps your turning pages until the end. The little rich girl and the little poor boy from Savannah held on to the memories they carved in a tree when they were children. The poor boy achieved his educational and financial goals to become successful. He learned a valuable lesson that money can't buy everything.
Belle Calhoune is one of my favorite authors. This story is great. I liked the backstory between Olivia and Hunter and learning about Hunter's family. There are elements of forgiveness in realizing that revenge is never good and doesn't bring the satisfaction it entices. I can't wait to read each story in this series.
I enjoyed reading this book because it was an insight on how some people really feel about how they grew up. It shows how a person early childhood reflects the choices they make in life. I'm not sure about the storyline with the friends inheritance because it just didn't seem to flow with the storyline. It was my first read from this Author but I will read more of her books.
Another great series by Belle Calhoune. Olivia quickly became a favorite character in book one of the series, so I was glad to see her story in book 2. Hunter is a hero to fall in love with, and Olivia the woman you want to have as your best friend. A Moment in the Moonlight, is a great book to curl up with a cup of tea and get lost for a few hours.
Another cant put down novel. This novel had so much action in it that it was hard to put down. I wanted to keep reading so i coulf find out what was waiting around the corner. It is never good to try to get even with people cause it will come back to you, in which in this novel it happened more then once. You should always trust in God & your family. Kepping secrets from your fsmily is wrong, being honest with them could bring you closet. Revenge is never the answer.
This is the second time that I have read this and it was just as good as the first time! I first read this a couple of weeks after it came out in January 2016, and fell in love with this author and her books! One of the things that I love about her books are the wonderful quotes at the beginning of each chapter, like “Forgiveness is the best gift you can ever bestow on someone.” And “A life well lived is a wonderful gift to yourself. If given the choice, dance till dawn & love with every inch of your heart.” These characters in her stories are wonderfully woven and connected in each story, and I have anxiously waited to read each story as soon as they are released. I love the author’s wonderful themes of forgiveness and second chances. My favorite scene was when Hunter pushed Olivia on the swing and asked her how many pushes would it take to earn forgiveness. But my absolute favorite quote in this book was when Hunter said “God had my back…He was with me every step of the way. When things got dark & stormy, I leaned on Him. And He never failed me. Not once.” I just wish I had left this review a year ago. I HIGHLY recommend this book and this author!
As I have said before, Ms. Calhoune knows how to pull you right in to a story... A well to do little girl and a poor little boy that are destined to be together. Although this may sound like a fairy tale in the works, I can assure you that it's not. Ms. Calhoune's style of writing gives you so many details about the characters that you feel as if you know them... you can visualize them... the scenes portrayed can unfold in your mind like you were a bystander. I greatly enjoyed Olivia's and Hunter's story as well as that of their parents. I am a big fan of series and love the continuity and depth that develops when you deal with main characters throughout the different parts of the series. This is no exception. Well written, loveable characters, and heart tugging moments make this a book well worth reading.
